From a cooler plot within the combe of the Avant Dheune and ripens much later and produces a more refined Pommard. This is also notably ripe yet remains agreeably fresh with its array of various red berries, especially cherry, along with hints of black raspberry and earth. The sleeker and equally vibrant medium weight flavors possess a lovely texture and a hint of minerality that becomes more prominent as the youthfully austere finish sits on the palate.
