Alain Chavy has worked under his own name since 2003, when the former Domaine Gérard Chavy et Fils was divided between Alain and his brother Jean-Louis. The domaine runs to roughly seven hectares, almost all of it in Puligny-Montrachet, and the premier crus read like a walk across the village: Les Champs Gains and Les Folatières on the upper slope, Clavoillon on the mid-slope, and Les Pucelles on the lower slope against Bâtard-Montrachet.

The style is classical Puligny rather than showy. Fruit is hand harvested and slowly pressed, fermented and aged in barrel, and bottled with the stony cut and tension the village is known for. Offered here is the 2023 range, from the Bourgogne Blanc through Saint-Aubin 1er Cru 'En Remilly' and the village 'Les Charmes' to the four premier crus, along with a small parcel of 2022 premier crus. The Bourgogne Blanc and 'Les Charmes' are also offered as six packs and dozens at a lower per bottle price.

Freight is charged per case, that is 1-12 bottles = 1 charge, 13-24 bottles another etc.
