Red wine - Pinot Noir
Varying vine age back to plantings in 1920. Classically pure and feminine, particularly this example. 20% whole cluster, 30% new wood.
Griotte, black cherry, pure yet full & powerful. Jaw clenching limestone tension.
The palate is ever so concentrated with mouth filling and coating, super ripe fine tannins. Cassis, rich fruit that coats the mouth and seemingly lasts forever. Very long.
